Level 36

Jeff Arlen is a lost cause as a human.  He has lead a terrible life and has things in his past in which he should have been but was never punished for and has continued his life without even giving it a thought.  He has no regard for other people and most of the time he is too drunk to even acknowledge any thing.  On the night of Christmas Eve, however Jeff dies in his sleep and is met by a sarcastic demon named Shade who has come to take Jeff to Level 36, a level of hell reserved for only the biggest scum of society.  Only 5 people end up at level 36, Shade included and as Jeff soon finds out, level 36 is the last level for a reason.  The majority of this story takes place in hell.

5 Times More Fatal

Mitch Lecental is a CIA agent who has been involved in some of the world’s most significant cases.  When a scientist discovers how to determine how many more cigarettes an individual has before they die.  Mitch, being a heavy chain smoker, decides to go find out his number but to Mitch’s surprise he only has 5 left.  Mitch being the pig headed person he is, decides to, instead of quit, smoke 1 a day for the next 5 days and to finish all the unsolved problems in his life no matter what the cause.

Might As Well

Spencer Davis has nothing to look forward to when he wakes up.  Each mourning he wonders why he’s even still around.  Spencer has a “to do’ list of extreme things he wants to do before he dies but he hasn’t done any of it.  One mourning he wakes up and decides “fuck this I’m going to fulfill my life!”  So Spencer heads out to complete everything on his list and make his life suck a little less”

Shade: The Last Hope for Man Kind

Yes this is the same character from Level 36 I figured he was too cool to not give his own story.   Any way Jack Detroit is a 22 year old college student who has everything going his way.  He’s got great grades, a lot of friends, money, a great car and one of the best girlfriends a guy could ask for.  Until one day when him and his girl are walking through New York City and his girlfriend is kidnapped right from beside him.  Jack goes out and buys a Skeleton Mask and heads out to find the kidnappers.  He finds them and his girl but in trying to save her Jack himself dies and she is still in danger.  Jack ends up in Heaven for making the sacrifice but he doesn’t want to be there,  Jack wants to go back and save the girl he loves so God agrees to let him return but once she is saved he must return.  However Shade, who has gotten fed up at this point with Level 36 and the people down there, straps himself to Jack and once Jack re-enters earth he gains control to Jacks body and is free to do as he wants until Jacks mind catches up.  Once Jack realizes Shade is connected to him he asks Shade to help him save the girl and in exchange Shade is free to use his body as he wants once there mission is complete.  Neither Shade or Jack are aware of how this new connection will effect either of their lives until a problem arises that forces Shade and Jack to join forces and save the world for almost impending doom.
